Supervisor Conway called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.                                                      Call to Order

Also present were: Zabicki, Steinke, & Braden.

Absent: Rahm.

 

Zabicki led the Pledge of Allegiance

 

Sheriff’s report given by Deputy Babcock.

Conway moved, Steinke seconded to approve the bills as presented;                             Bills

General Fund $37,353.03; Building Fund $20,844.66; Liquor Fund $376.78;

Sewer Fund $102,648.52; Water Fund $2,075.18; Ambulance $8,874.35.

Conway moved, Braden seconded to approve the minutes of the                                               Minutes

October 20th, 2003 Regular Meeting, October 29th, 2003 Special Meeting

and October 31st, 2003 Special Meeting. 

 

 Zabicki moved, Rahm seconded to allow employees to take December 26th,                Holiday

2003 off ­in place of  December 24th, 2003.

Zabicki moved, Conway seconded to approve the Township Board Meeting                 2004 Meeting

Dates for 2004 as follows:                                                                                                        Dates

Monday August 16th, Monday September 20th, Monday October 18th,

Zabicki moved, Conway seconded to approve the “Application for access and              SBC

Ongoing use of the public ways by Telecommunications providers SBC” as

Approved by the Township Attorney.

Zabicki moved, Steinke seconded to award the New Buffalo Township Snow               Snow Plowing 

Plowing Contract to “Bowen Roofing, INC.” for the 2003-2004 winter season.

Conway moved, Braden seconded to authorize payment of $1,005.00 to                                  Townline

Chikaming Township, which represents New Buffalo Townships share                           Beach

of expenses for Maintenance and upkeep to Townline Beach.

 

            Motion             Carried

 

 

 

 

 

Rahm moved, Braden seconded to authorize the clerk to attend the MTA                                  Training

Township Governance Class in Kalamazoo, December 10th, and to allow

any Board member to attend the MTA convention in Lansing, the last week

in January. All fees and out of pocket expenses to be paid by the Township

out of the respective budgets.
