Conway moved, Zabicki seconded to adopt the following Rules of Order to be Adopt Rules of Order

adhered to by the New Buffalo Township Board during its Regular Meetings

and Workships.

Township Employees at their expense through payroll deduction.

Rahm moved, Zabicki seconded the formation of the New Buffalo Township     Fire Administration

RESOLUTION

 

WHEREAS the New Buffalo Township Board has discussed and wishes to create a Fire Administration Board, and;

 

WHEREAS the New Buffalo Township Board has advertised for residents to apply to the Board to be members of the Fire Administration Board, and;

 

WHEREAS the duties of the Fire Administrative Board shall include recommending a Fire Chief to preside over both Fire Stations; submitting an annual budget for review, modification and approval by the Township Board; assist with and review By-Laws & Standard Operating Procedures of the Fire Department; handle equipment, uniform and other purchase requests from the Fire Department; review and recommend New Fire Fighter applications; and other duties as delegated by the New Buffalo Township Board.

 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the New Buffalo Township Board is Establishing the  New Buffalo Township Fire Administrative Board pursuant to MCL 41.812.
