Supervisor Conway called the meeting to order at 8:35 a.m.                                          Call to Order

Also present were: Rahm, Steinke, Braden & Zabicki.

Braden moved, Rahm seconded to approve Zoning Amendments as                  Zoning Amendments

recommended by the New Buffalo Township Planning Commission

and the Berrien County Planning Commission.

 

            Motion             CARRIED

 

Rahm moved, Braden seconded to approve a computer system with                  Building Department

2 printers for the Building Department, not to exceed $5,000.00.                                   Computer System

 

            Motion             CARRIED

 

Rahm moved, Conway seconded to approve a New Windows Based               Building Department

permit software from BS&A Software for the Building Department,                               BS&A Software, cost not to exceed $4,000.00.

 

            Motion             CARRIED

 

Rahm moved, Conway seconded to approve the Assessor’s pay raise               Assessor Pay raise

of  the cost of living per the state for the 2002 fiscal year and the

2003 fiscal year per contract.

 

            Motion             CARRIED

 

Conway moved, Braden seconded to authorize the New Buffalo Township                    Seminar

Employees to attend a Professional Business Seminar, September 9th, 2003.

All out of pocket expenses to be paid by the Township.

 

            Motion             CARRIED

 

Conway moved, Braden seconded to authorize the Berrien County 4H to                      4H Sale

 hold a fund a fund raising sale of Books and Calendars in New Buffalo

Township from October 1st-24th, 2003.

 

            Motion             CARRIED

 

 

Braden moved, Steinke seconded to adjourn at 9:00 am.
