SPECIAL MEETING

Supervisor Conway called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.                              Call to Order

Also present were:  Braden, Steinke & Zabicki.

Rahm absent.

 

OLD BUSINESS

 

Union Pier Cottages; Corrections were made to the site plan and                       Union Pier Cottages

private road. The corrected site plan and road were reviewed by

the Planning Commission and recommended for approval.

Conway moved, Zabicki seconded to approve the Union Pier Cottages

site plan and private road providing that the site plan shall comply

with the Condominium Act, Act 59 of 1978, amended, and the private

road shall comply with the BOCA Fire Code.

NEW BUSINESS

 

Conway moved, Zabicki seconded to set the wages for the assistant                  Assistant Zoning

zoning administrator at $14ph.                                                                                                   Administrator

Zabicki moved, Steinke seconded to authorize Dan Pojan to attend the              AZA School

“Practical Guide to Zoning and Land Use Law- School January 21, 2004

in Grand Rapids.                                                                      

 

            Motion             Carried

 

Steinke moved, Conway seconded appoint Jack Rogers as the NFPA Fire                   Fire Inspector

Code Inspector, pending successful completion of the required school

January 5-16th, 2004 in Kalamazoo, MI.

Zabicki moved, Conway seconded appoint Dan Pojan as Enforcement Officer  Enforcement

with a pay rate of $14ph.                                                                                              Officer

 

            Motion             Carried

 

Zabicki moved, Braden seconded defer penalties on 10 Sewer billings               Sewer Billings.

that were found, during an in house  Sewer Audit, that had never been

on the Quarterly Billing. Customers were billed in arrears for 3 yrs.

Braden moved, Steinke seconded authorize a letter written by Attorney             Sewer Backup

Peterson to Mr. Don Wood of Timberlane regarding denying his claim

of reimbursement for damages caused by the sewer backup.

Agnes moved, Steinke seconded to approve Zoning amendments as follows;     Zoning Amendments
